The 2011 Emmys saw a variety of trends, but the one that stood out the most was red. More than 7
women, including petite actresses Lea Michelle and Angela Kinsey, show off elegant red garments for
the award show.
Get in the trend and try out The Little Bra Company’s bestselling Lucia bra in red.
The second most talked about trend was sparkle. A handful of stars rocked beautiful sequin gowns.
Their dresses exhibit various colors, prints, and styles.
Petite actress and fan of The Little Bra Company, Kerry Washington, decided to incorporate both trends
with her gorgeous red sequin gown.
Most of the nominees and guests sported long maxi dresses, as opposed to a knee-length or short

Hey TLBC fans!
Here, at The Little Bra Company, we do our best to be “green.” We use energy-efficient light bulbs, we recycle and reuse recycled paper, we recycle bottles and cans, and now we’ve come up with a list of 10 fun and creative ways you all can recycle your old or unworn bras.
1) Make a bustier. Cover the bra with sequins or rhinestones for a new, sexy look.
2) Use the cups as knee pad while gardening.
3) Sew your bra into a camisole.
4) Dress a scarecrow.
5) Make it a piece of art. Place your bra in a glass frame and use it as wall décor.
6) Use the cups to wrap fragile, round things, such as glass Christmas ornaments.
7) Remove the hooks and use them as extenders for other bras.
8 ) Sew the padding into a baby’s hat to make it softer and warmer.
9) Use it as a dust mask while cleaning the house.
10) Make a bra purse.
Now we want to hear from the fans. Can you think of any creative ways you can recycle your old or unused bras?
And stay tuned for our instructional post on how to make a one-of-a-kind bra purse!
As we all know, today is the 10th anniversary of one of the most tragic events in U.S. history. TLBC would like to thank all the firefighters and men and women in the military for keeping us safe and free.
There are many different ways you can show your appreciation for these amazing peoples’ hard work and dedication. You can wear a yellow or black ribbon, bake cookies for your local fire fighters, or simply take a moment of silence for all of the lives that were lost.

Hey TLBC fans!
Since the majority of our customers fall into the petite category, we decided to make a list of fashion tips and tricks that are sure to enhance your look.
Be Aware of Patterns
Try to avoid horizontal lines, wide prints, large floral patterns, and small detailed prints. All of these designs will “squish” your body.
For Example: If you would like to wear stripes, vertical stripes are the best choice for petite women. You will be surprised at how much it will lengthen your body. Diagonal stripes have a similar effect, but the illusion will not be as strong as if you were to wear verticals.
Don’t chop your body in half
By pairing a cute solid colored top with a similar solid colored skirt, pant, or short, your outfit will flow better because it will create an elongated silhouette. .
You can also try wearing a maxi dress. A maxi dress will make you look longer and leaner.
Be careful when wearing a belt. More flattering ways petite women can sport a belt are 1) placing the belt directly under the bust line, or 2) wearing the belt on your hips.
Shoes are the most effective way a petite woman can lengthen her figure.
The easiest way you can elongate your legs is by rocking a cute pair of heels. A higher heel will make you look taller and improve your posture.
If you do not feel comfortable in heels or stilettos, try wedges. Wedges are easier to walk in, but still provide you with a few more inches of height.
No matter what your height is, stand tall. Wear clothes that make you feel good, because we guarantee if you feel good, you will look good no matter what you wear. Wearing a bra that fits is the first step to feeling your best. It may not be seen on the outside, but it definitely is the foundation to your entire outfit and is the piece of clothing that is the closest to your body. Your intimate apparel should be comfortable and give you the shape you want for any outfit. The Little Bra Company offers smaller size bras for your petite body type that are not only functional, but also fashionable. You deserve to wear something beautiful on the inside and out.
There are many clothing companies that cater specifically to petite women.
The Little Bra Company offers intimate apparel that will enhance and give shape to women with a smaller frame. Be a proud petite because "good things do come in small packages!"®

We stumbled upon this amazing charity while surfing the web today! The organization is called “The Painted Bra Art Project.” Participants and artists create their own masterpiece using a bra as their canvas. The painted bras are auctioned off to create funds and awareness for breast cancer research. Some famous participants include Cameron Diaz and Kate Cassidy. Check out “The Painted Bra Art Project” on facebook. You can view photographs of artwork and learn how to participate. Who knows, maybe you will find a piece used by an artist’s petite TLBC bra! :)

We here at The Little Bra Company cook our office lunch almost every day. One of our favorite things to eat is baked mac and cheese, yum! , and decided to share a recipe with all you gals.
You will need:
1 (16 ounce) package fully cooked kielbasa sausage, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1 (8 ounce) package elbow macaroni
1/3 cup butter
1 small onion, chopped
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
1 (10 ounce) package sharp Cheddar cheese, cubed
salt and ground black pepper to taste
1 cup dry bread crumbs, or more as needed
Cook and stir the cut-up kielbasa in a large skillet over medium heat for 6 to 8 minutes, until heated through and beginning to brown. Remove the sausage from the skillet, and set aside.
Fill a pan with lightly salted water, bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stir in the macaroni, and return to a boil. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the pasta has cooked through but is still firm to the bite, about 8 minutes. Drain well.
Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Melt the butter in the skillet over medium-low heat, and cook and stir the chopped onion for about 5 minutes, until translucent. Whisk in the flour, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Cook and stir the butter, onion and flour for 2 to 3 minutes to make a roux, and remove from the heat. Whisk in the milk a little at a time, stirring constantly, until all the milk has been incorporated, and return to low heat. Bring the sauce to a simmer, and cook over low heat for about 2 minutes, stirring constantly, to finish cooking the flour. Whisk in the Cheddar cheese, a few cubes at a time, until all the cheese has been incorporated and the sauce is hot and smooth.
Pour the macaroni into the cheese sauce, and stir to combine. Stir in the cooked kielbasa
salt, and pepper.
Spoon the macaroni mixture into the prepared baking dish, and sprinkle the bread crumbs over the top. Bake for about 20 minutes in the preheated oven, until the crumbs are brown and the casserole is bubbling. Let stand for 15 minutes after baking, to set before serving.
